Side A Echo, Side B Room Echo
Side A, "Echo," is an approximately 27-minute track recorded with a single piano in 2006. Side B, "Room Echo," is an approximately 21-minute track recorded with guitar, piano, and a tape recorder in 2010. Both tracks occupy an entire side, so once you place the record, they play straight through to the end.
In the center of the kraft paper jacket, there is a photograph of the room where the piano was placed, taken by photographer Shoji Onuma.
Things heard because the sound is quiet
The performance continues very slowly and intermittently. Instead of a distinct progression, there are long pauses between notes, and the resonance and atmosphere of the room are recorded in those spaces. The B-side, recorded on tape, adds a lo-fi and warm texture, making it feel as if you are hearing the sound of someone quietly practicing in an old room from the next room.
Hang it up at moments like this.
· On a holiday morning with no schedule, in a room where sunlight streams through the curtains
· An afternoon of closing my eyes for a moment to rest while reading a book
· A night of meditating with the lights dimmed after finishing the day

Water pipe avoidance, record picker
Crown shyness refers to the phenomenon where tall trees in a forest grow with small gaps between their branches so that they do not touch one another. When viewed from below, the sky flows through the treetops like a thin stream.
Heo Jeong-mu’s album curation, "Avoiding the Waterway," introduces music that feels like that gap. Comfortable and pleasant albums that will serve as the backdrop for everyday life. He places sounds that do not assert themselves but quietly seep into the empty spaces of the day within the composition's space.
Storage and Guide
· Store records upright and avoid direct sunlight and high temperature or humidity.
· Please hold the plate surface only by the edges and the center label, and handle it carefully to avoid fingerprints.
· A turntable is required for playback. Keeping the needle tip clean will prolong both the sound and the record.
· Since albums are reproducible products, exchanges or returns due to a simple change of mind are difficult after the packaging has been opened.
· The wooden stand in the photo is a prop for photography and is not included with the product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are there really only two songs?
A. Yes, there is one song on each side, Side A and Side B, each containing a long track over 20 minutes long. When you place the record on the shelf, it quietly fills the space until one side finishes.
Q. Who would this suit?
A. I recommend this to those who prefer the space and resonance of sound over melody, and to those looking for music to play during quiet moments like meditation or reading.
Q. Can I see this in the store?
A. You can view the albums selected by Sugwan Gipi in person at the Composition store in Sinchon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju. Stock availability may vary depending on the time.
