The reason Composition chose this snack
There is a small sentence written on one side of the packaging. Chew slowly, live slowly — Chew slowly, live slowly.
Gilham Jelly Bar is not a snack meant to be popped into your mouth in one go. You tear off a strip along the grain, put it in your mouth, and chew it slowly until the chewiness releases. During those few minutes, you pause, take a sip of tea, and look out the window. This is why Composition chose this small snack as an "item for a quiet life.".
What is it made of?
grain — We blended wheat, barley, and brown rice grown in domestic organic soil.
kneading We kneaded the grains with coconut milk and, taking into account the characteristics of the grains, repeatedly kneaded and aged the mixture to make it easy on the stomach.
Matcha — With the addition of Hadong green tea and organic Jeju matcha, a subtle bitter aroma lingers.
Texture — It retains the fiber of the grain, making it chewy and textured so you can tear it apart and eat it piece by piece.
It contains no gelatin and is vegan certified. It is manufactured in a HACCP-certified facility.
Try eating it like this
· like that — Open the packaging, tear it along the grain one line at a time, and chew slowly.
· Warm it up slightly — Heating it in a microwave or oven for 10 to 20 seconds makes it softer and more flavorful.
· On the fire — If you are camping or near a campfire, try grilling it lightly over the direct heat.
· Along with tea — It pairs well with fruit-flavored coffee or tea. The bitterness of matcha becomes much smoother.
Keep one or two in your bag and take one out to eat before your yoga class, during a walk, or during a short afternoon break.
