Butdanggol Tea is a specialized handmade tea garden that produces clean and clear tea using 100% organic wild tea leaves from Hadong, grown in Hwagae, Jirisan. We hand-harvest the leaves, one by one, from tea trees that have grown breathing clean water and air deep in the mountains of Hwagae, Hadong, Jirisan, where suitable rainfall and temperatures for tea tree growth are maintained.
Butdanggol Tea has consistently used traditional cauldrons to this day, and through traditional methods and Butdanggol's unique technology, it produces a variety of teas, including fermented teas with Butdanggol Tea's distinctive flavor.
The organic wild tea leaves from Hwagae, Hadong, Jirisan are not from tea trees cultivated in separate fields, but from wild tea trees that take root and grow on their own in rock crevices and deep in the mountains. Since they are untouched by human hands, their growth rate is slow, but the depth of their aroma and flavor is all the more intense.
This tea is made by hand-picking, leaf by leaf, tea leaves that have grown in the deep mountains of Hwagae, Jirisan, where the appropriate rainfall and temperature for tea trees to grow are maintained, breathing clean water and air.

By controlling the intensity and duration of the fire with human hands and years of experience rather than machines, Butdanggol utilizes its unique techniques to create a variety of teas, including fermented teas with its distinctive flavor.
