Following the much-loved Four Seasons Coaster (2021), it has been upgraded to a new version. The 2025 version is completed with four colors—Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter—filled entirely in a single tone.
The gauze is hand-dyed with natural dyes, dried, and finished with pleats to create a thick texture. Experience the four seasons layered in this way.
Spring · Gauze Cotton (Onion Dye)
It is a warm, reddish-brown spring, dyed with water infused with onion peels.
Summer · Gauze Cotton (Indigo Dye)
It is summer, cooling down the heat with the refreshing indigo blue emanating from the indigo plant.
Autumn · Gauze cotton (persimmon dye)
It captures the ripe autumn in a deep brown hue deeply infused with persimmon juice.
Winter · Gauze Cotton (Undyed)
This is a winter finished in the natural white of undyed gauze cotton.

COLOR & PATTERN · No two colors are the same
The colors of Hug's layered coasters are not artificially blended, but rather created by the temperature, humidity, and the passage of sunlight of that day. For the Small (Four Seasons) size, you can choose your desired color from four options: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter; however, even within the same season, there may be slight variations in hue depending on the dyeing batch. For the Large size, you do not need to specify a color, and we will send you the exact colors drawn by nature on that day.
HOW TO USE · How to Use
As a coaster for tea or coffee — Place it under a teacup or mug to retain the warmth of your tea time.
As a stand for small bowls or ceramics — Place it under your favorite ceramic dishes or candles to add texture to the table.
As the last piece of the gift — The hug attached to each coaster. Just as the tag says, it makes for a gift that conveys your feelings.
CARE · Laundry and Care
Gently hand wash with a neutral detergent, then lay flat to dry in the shade. Please avoid using solid dish soap, as it may cause discoloration.
We recommend ironing the dried product before use.
Please store in a drawer, as prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause discoloration.
